about

Andy Abbott and James Islip met when they were eleven years old. Now, at the time of this release, they are thirty. Over this time their friendship has developed in parallel with their musical endeavours. For them, specific periods, events and stages can be recalled and defined in terms of the music they have enjoyed, shared and played together the most recent phase of which has been That Fucking Tank.

Sometimes music is a reason why people become friends, sometimes music comes out of friendship. In either case the two things are inseparable. This album documents and maps this relationship through musical expressions that give a snapshot of a twenty-year journey between two people who have got to know one another through the language of guitar, drums and mostly noisy rock music.
